It took two days for him to settle in. Ivan went from a 36x18x18 to a 48x18x30 and is loving it. Plus I added an elevated bridge and he is rarely off it. His appetite has increased and is calmer when touched. I didn’t think the size of enclosure would matter that much but it does. I have some nice furniture to put in as soon as the sealant dries, then 1 more coat and he’ll have a very nice home.

Lights are out now. Sleepy time. I have 36 inch linear t5 and 100 watt basking. I put in a dual dome for basking and nighttime heat and built a way to adjust the height. I’ll take pic tomorrow.

He really loves the bridge. I might have to move it under basking light so he can bask at one end and still wonder to the other end. But I think he likes just to look at stuff outside his tank. Probably to tease the cat. Lol.

The tank looks a little dark- the bridge is it directly under the lights? If not I would get them so they are -- your gonna want the probe directly where he sits for basking to get a actual basking temp

Bridge is against the glass. Uvb is in the middle. Basking is in the corner. I use a temp gun to check basking. I have an ambient temp/humidity gauge on back wall. Can’t see. Bridge is in the way.
