Big throat?

Hi everyone. My 8 month old female has been sporting a big throat recently. Is this just excess skin and fat, or could it be something else?
She’s possibly carrying infertile eggs as the vet said he could feel what could be eggs, this was a week ago but she hasn’t laid yet.

I only really notice it so much when she’s basking, so I think it could just be excess skin

I would have a blood work up done just to make sure nothing is going on. It is kind of saggy.

Could this be something serious? She’s eating fine and is her usual self. I’m not sure if she is actually gravid now as she hasn’t laid any eggs, and has stopped digging around her tank and is eating again. I might take her to the vet this weekend to check for definite on the eggs, and I can ask him about her throat then.

It could be nothing and it could be something. Edema could cause her neck to look like this or gout or she could just have a fat neck. I would ask the vet about it.

She has put on some weight recently after not eating properly for about a week, she’s back to eating like a pig now. She does have fat pads under her arms, I think people call them beardie boobs haha It’ll be nice to know if she actually does have infertile eggs or if it was nothing
