Being a brat, or something else?

Hey everyone,

Having some issues with a beardie brat. Artemis is approximately 2+ years, I am her second owner so not positive about the age. Lately she has been glass dancing like crazy. Her enclosure is beside my computer desk, and she makes sure I am aware of her presence at all times. I let her out to roam around the house, but I've noticed she just finds a place to hide after scratching around and goes to sleep shortly after gaining her freedom. If I return her to her to enclosure, she starts dancing again until I let her out. At first I thought she could have some eggs, but she threw a fit when I put her in a lay basket and MacGyver'd her way out. I also don't feel anything in her belly. Her temps are regular and nothing has changed in her enclosure, and she hasn't been scratching around her hide - just dancing for me.
She has recently pooped, but her eating has definitely slowed. She has always been resistant to her greens, but even more-so now. Also, today I came home from class (I am gone 7AM - 6PM) and it looked like she hadn't left her hammock since the morning (hammock is on the cool side).

My only thought is her enclosure is a bit too small and she wants some more stretching (it's about 50g, but more tall than I would like), and I have a new tank in process, but just curious if anyone has experienced something similar that turned out to be something else entirely.

Thanks!

Welcome to the unexplained world of bearded dragons! Mine do the same exact thing. I let them out and then they run around and find a corner to sleep in!

Same behavior here. Sometimes I swear mine is gravid again but she turns out not to be. Practically demands to get out of her tank and then finds a place to nap. Then gets cranky when I go to put her back in her home. Warms up, and then she wants out again.
