I lived there for 12 years but am now in Saskatchewan, one Province east in the flatlands. Not near as spectacular, but a beautiful place to live. It is said that in some areas here, it is so flat that, "You can watch your Dog run away for 3 Days" Our seasons vary drastically, in the Winter we at times experience temps of -50F, exposed skin is said to freeze within a minute, personally from experience, that is not true, but close. In the Summer months it is not uncommon to experience +100F days. Our vehicle license plates boast 'Land Of The Living Skies'.
