My bear dies poop isn’t the same as it usually is it’s much more runny. Is this a concern? Only been going on for a week. He has proper uvb and proper lighting I’m positive.

thanx!

Hi,

What are you feeding?
Hey! He gets fed (Dish 1) collard greens, sweet potato, mustard greens (Dish 2) Collard, kale, dandelion greens.
He rotates between these 2 dishes and he gets fed every other day now bec he was getting a bit fat so that’s what the vet suggested. And for insects he gets 2 hornworms 3 times a week dusted with calcium powder

thanxxxxxxxx

The hornworms are a hydrating worm -- that could be causing the runny stools - he needs a staple insect please 2-3 times per week for a dragon a year old or older -- please get him some dubia roaches they are a better staple feeder than crickets -- and I would cut back on the horn worms --

Ok I was using those before I guess I will go back to them if you say it’s better. The horn worms were just very convenient but gotta keep him healthy. Thank you and thank for the discount code!

Make sure your basking temps are being taken w/ a digital probe thermometer and 95-100 for a yr old dragon or older

Sometimes if they have had certain greens they act as a diuretic and have more fluid. Certainly nothing to worry about as it proves they are not dehydrated.
