So we are testing out the name Sully but I just thought of the name Otto which I also love......goodness. On to the origonal post. I gave the little guy his first real soak and he LOVED it. He swam and floated and just stood. The tub has a slope so he could have safety and fun. He could still stand in most of it.

Sounds good that he doesn't have an aversion to warm soaks, but he should be able to stand in all of it ... ;) In warm water no higher than his arm pits when standing.

It was except for the very end then his head was still above water it was just deeper. I also watched him the full time so there where no accidents. I kinda worded it wrong. Sorry. The deepest part was maybe up to his neck but it was only a small space that was that deep.

Very cute! You're lucky your beardie likes baths. My baby HATES them and squirms everywhere and tries to run up the sink, the poor little guy!

Harry tries to sleep when I put him in the bath he puts his head down on the rock I have in there and closes his eyes and gets aggravated when I talk to him, if I continue annoying him he turns his back to me and continues to sleep. Drives me CRAZY!!! He thinks it's his personal hot tub or something, lol This is all new too. He used to swim and play and splash in the tub, now he acts like it's a chore to soak.

my steven hates baths. she jumps and claws on the bath tub walls. when she finally realizes that she can't get out she looks at me with the evil eye death glare. it would be easier if she enjoyed her baths...

lucky sully whoo loves bath time.

I gave him a soak again yesterday and he swam a little and floated alot. He also likes to use my hand as a kind of perch for his front feet. The only time I get the "evil eye death glare" is when I dont pull Otto out of his enclosure when he thinks I need to. He runs up and down the length of his viv and then he stops and gives the look if I dont get him out. Lol ...sad thing is it works!! I pull him out every time!
