It’s been a solid 3-4 months that he has neglected vegetables, only eaten 10-15 horn worms in that time as well. He no longer is interested in dubia roaches and never liked crickets. I updated his light source & got a huge 120 gallon tank. He has plenty of light (uvb, 2 dome lights and a red light on the cool side) and I have his blood tested, he’s been examined by a vet. He gets a bath every 2 days. He will only eat hornworms or super worms and a very small amount. Big guy used to eat so many roaches and vegetables and now won’t eat anything and I’ve tried so many different things. The vet said according to the tests he is fine but I know my guy.. he doesn’t move as much and just no food in general CANT be good. He hasn’t pooped in weeks and that was the only time in the last probably 2 months that he’s pooped. This can’t be normal

First please get rid of the red bulb - any colored bulbs can cause long term eye damage and disrupts the sleep -- dragons like it cool and dark --w/ that being said what are you using for a UVB? Brand and bulb please and where do you have it for placement on the tank -- w/ the 2 domes I am assuming its a coil UVB?

The red light is only on during the day… still get rid of it?? Complete darkness at night. The uvb is a zoo med, same length as the terrarium, about 4 feet.

I’m not sure what a coil uvb is… it’s a hood light. Should it be inside the enclosure?

You have a wide holed screen I need the brand and the bulb your using-- look on the UVB bulb it will tell you-- how old is the UVB? This is crucial for bulbs - look for a T 5 or a T 8

It’s a t8 bulb, I just got it a few weeks ago brand new!! So because it has the wide holes it can stay on top of the enclosure??

I am sorry but it needs to be unobstructed - if it was a T 5 I would of said yes but T 8's are not strong enough to go thru screens so w/ that being said take the back part of your screen off if you can and have the UVB sit across the tank w/ basking decor pieces 6-8 inches directly underneath --- once you get this properly placed and the red light gone basking temps 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer your want surface basking temps all fixed watch his behavior you should notice a difference right away ---
