Hi! I'm a first time owner of a beardie. We have spike who is now 4 yrs old and has done great since we adopted him. Until now. We lived in Colorado for 4 yrs and in Feb of this yr we moved to Arizona. Not the crazy hot Phoenix area. Where we live now has weather close to our area in Colorado. After the move he stopped eating. Didn't think much of it since it was his usual brumation time. However I noticed his physical state declining and he absolutely refused any insects. Fast forward to now June. He's somewhat eating his veg and fruit but still seems uninterested in bugs. He loves his soaks and outside adventures but he's still not himself. Also don't know if it's important but he's never really shown his "beard" until about a month ago after a good soak in the sun and he's had it since. I want my little guy to be happy and healthy so any suggestions or direction would be very appreciated!!

Your surface basking temps and temps in the tank plus the UVB your using are the most important factors in the tank- please go over those - what are the temps how are you taking them IR gun stick ons or digital probe thermometer --? UVB is a coil or a long tube fixture
They will go thru relocation stress but he should of adjusted to this by now -

I have a temp gun. His basking side stays in the higher 80s. Also changed his uvb light after the move so I know thats working properly. The fact that he hasn't adjusted by now is what's stressing me out. I'm just at a loss of what to do for him now.

Basking side should be in the high 90's lower 100's ambient temp - basking surface temps should be 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer they are the most accurate especially on hammocks -- IR guns will not read off of a hammock - what are you using for a UVB ? long tube fixture or a coil? Long tube fixture is it a T 5 or a T 8 and what is the brand -- this matters along w/ distance and placement of the fixture --
