Beardie threw up?

Yesterday I was cleaning out his enclosure when he started making a weird noise. I didn't think too much of it until he made it again and threw up. There was a meal worm chunk in it, and it was mostly clear and slimy with some yellow. I still don't know what it is. Is he sick?

Your basking temps what are they? How are you taking them? And did he eat the meal worm too fast? Sometimes if they eat to fast they can upchuck or if the food comes out undigested that's a sign of basking temps not being high enough-- keep an eye on him it could be just a one time thing

How old is the dragon and how are you taking basking temps? Stick ons are inaccurate- basking should be 95-110 for an adult and 105-110 for a baby--- if he is a baby its not good to feed meal worms to them - the exoskeleton is too harsh on their stomachs and can cause impaction if too many are fed --- adults are fine w/ them

how are you taking basking temps? Stick ons are inaccurate- if he keeps throwing up you may need to get him into the vet- if your feeding meal worms I would either cut them out or give sparingly -- you need to find out what hes throwing up - is it salads or worms staple feeder?

a dual analog thermometer showing temperature and humidity, and he only threw up once. he has super worms as a staple and pellets and meal worms as an extra every now and then. (he threw up the meal worms) and he receives fruits and veggies as needed.

Pellets are not very good- he should be getting fresh veggies everyday- superworms are not a good staple feeder--- silk worms dubia roaches or crickets- dubias and silks are a better staple feeder- fresh veggies will supply moisture/ hydration-- pellets will dry him out--- if you would like some websites for insects/ worms I can post some for you--

Ok veggies are better I thought you were giving pellets and veggies every now and then also stick on temp gauges are inaccurate you need a digital probe thermometer they are the best way for getting accurate temps
