so my beardie is 2 years old now and i had recently fed him bsfl. he would twitch away from his food when he didn’t want anymore so I stopped feeding him. i put him back in his enclosure and offered him mustard greens (which i do everyday with some fruit dusted in multivitamin and calcium) i went to go check on him like 20 minutes later n i saw he had a black beard which he never does. he’s actually been gaping at me since like two days ago. so anyway he’s shedding so i just brushed of the black beard as him shedding. i come back like 5 mins later to see he threw up his bsfl. his throw up had some green and red stuff is that mucus and blood?? it looks solid and i feed him greens and tomatoes quite often since it’s his favorite. what’s going on?

Bearded dragons should not eat tomatoes. They have NO nutritional value. Maybe that is why he is getting sick.
Hes got a upset stomach No More tomatos please --- red stuff is probably the tomato and dragons do not get black beards from shedding - I am guessing its from the upset stomach - here is a website for nutrition please ignore the kale thing its a good staple feeder http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html
yea probably since i tried tomatoes with him not that long ago maybe like a month ago or less. but no more of that. I’ve been keeping a close eye on him and he’s been looking a bit better ever since i let him out so he can find a hiding place to rest. thank you so much!
