Hi There! Looking for advice on my beardie, he’s a juvenile and he won’t stop biting. In his cage he will let you pet him, hand feed him but as soon as you try to pick him up he starts biting and runs away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Every day I pet him and keep my hand in his cage for awhile so he gets used to it but i’ve been doing this for weeks and nothing has helped.

Go over the lighting or post a pic of it --- I see a red hue are you using a red bulb? If so get rid of it - they are harmful to the eyes and can cause long term eye damage -- you need a bright white basking bulb that keeps temps 105-110 for a baby taken w/ a digital probe thermometer and a long tube for a UVB NO coils - depending on the tank anything 40 + gallon needs a 24" fixture w/ a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 bulb
