How big is your baby? Rankins grow 10 inches long and are considered miniature dragons or dwarfs. If he grows past 10 inches, then you know he's a regular bearded dragon. He does look like a Rankins or Henry Lawson Dragon. Rankins are rare since they're from Australia. Australia has a ban on reptile exports. They're mostly common in Australia. Unless I'm wrong, but I'm not sure. Their needs are similar to regular bearded dragons.

Where do you live? If you are in North America, it is highly unlikely that it is a Rankin. Rankins are an extreme rarity in NA. More common in the UK. May just be a small Dragon. BTW Rankins are Bearded Dragons, just a smaller version of the species. To say that they are not, would be like saying a Chihuahua is not a Dog because of it's small size.
