My beardie should be close to 10 years now. This all started about 4 days ago, he was completely fine and energetic earlier last week then towards the end of the week he became extremely lethargic , he’s head started sinking and he has become very skinny , his beard is also black , he isn’t eating . I gave him a back with electrolytes , he drank lots of water but ended up throwing up some of it. i wrapped him in a blanket and put him on a heating pad in low setting . after sometime , he got up and stood in front of his tank, i put him back on his hammock under his heating lamp and he didn’t move the rest of the day. I bought carnivore critical care cause i saw on one of the threads that that helped. he still isn’t eating and i have to give him water with a syringe which he’s drinking and he moves a bit. I am not sure what to do or what’s going on :/ he pooped a few times last week then hasn’t pooped since. i feed him salad with his calcium powder and got him some super worms , he ate a few about 4 days ago and hasn’t touched them since.

Ok so his age may be catching up w/ him - questions are always asked about surface basking temps and how your taking them- what are they - next UVB are you using a coil or long tube fixture and where is it in the tank? I would also add some herbivore critical care to the diet - is he taking the carnivore? I am going to send your post to Tracie she is the vet tech on the board she can help here better than I - have you taken the dragon into a reptile vet?

Hello,

Do you have any pictures of your dragon? If he is almost 10 years of age, that is very good. How is he
doing today? Is his beard dark still?
Are you using a good UVB light for him? How often in the past have you given him calcium? Even the
older dragons still need a regular calcium intake. If he isn''t eating anything, you can get some chicken or
turkey baby food & some squash or sweet potato baby food to feed him. Use a plastic syringe or dropper
to drip it onto the end of his nose. He should like the flavor of it & lick the food off of his nose, or from the
end of the dropper.
Looking forward to seeing pictures of him.

Tracie
