I took my juvenile beardie out for a walk around the block the other day, he seemed fine. I had him on my chest, and I covered him with a towel during loud noises or when other animals went by. He's been outside before and been ok. When he was back in the house he was acting totally normally. He played, ate food, and cuddled. I was away from home visiting my mom for two days, and my boyfriend was the main care giver after that. When I got home I went to pet him and he tensed up and hissed. First time I ever heard him hiss. We left him for a little, then after he calmed down my boyfriend took him out. Once he was out of his enclosure and on me he was totally fine. He was cuddling and acting normal. Then another day goes by and I go to feed him and he seems to veer away from my hand even tho I wasn't going for him. It's very weird, and I think he's very mad at me. Any advice? Or anyone know how to ease back the trust? I've never had this happen. Has anyone else had an experience like this?
