I am a first time beardie mom. I noticed a week ago that one of my baby beardie’s toenails was black. She is about 4 or 5 months old. The toe does not seem swollen to me, but she does not seem to be bending it like she does her other toes. It was hard to get a good close-up picture of it.
Should I put an antibiotic like Neosporin on it? Or is this something that she will need to see a vet?Need some advice.
Looks like it may have gotten stuck somewhere and possibly a scale came off? You could soak in betadine soak (weakened to look like a weak tea) and if it continues I would have it seen by a exotic vet.
