Beardie cures insomnia

I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. I used to have terrible insomnia but my darling Hermione has cured it. I set her on my chest in the evening for snuggles, tuck a blanket around both of us, and pet her until she falls asleep, and in short order I'm yawning and ready for bed and a good nights sleep myself. This happens to my hubby too, only it works faster on him. We have 4 beardies, 2 are rescues, and they all have this wonderful talent. Is this a peculiarity of beardies in general? Or did I just luck out?

edited to add: If I snuggle both girls at the same time, the effect is multiplied, once they quit competing to get the best position. So now only one at a time for me, I'm afraid I'll fall asleep with them on me. :)

I love how they snuggle! Especially what I call the beardie wiggle, when they move their entire body and burrow into you. :) I only have the one, I'm afraid if I got more they wouldn't get enough one on one time... that being said, I'm constantly perusing the internet for bearded dragon sales, and I can't even look at the ones in the pet store! hahaha

They are special critters how they do that sweet dragon wiggle.. just something special about knowing that you give comfort enough to a little one that will calm us as well..
I have 2 and it is kinda hard splitting the time up but it's doable lol

My dragons don't put me to sleep but they do relax me and help me relax after a long day at work. Even just tending to them after work and tending to their bugs is relaxing.

Just a note, be careful not to fall asleep with them on your chest or in your bed.
