Bearded vivarium setup

Hi all, new to owning beardies but have some experience in lizards. I have attached a few pictures of my vivarium but was thinking about building a rockery under the heat lamp instead of the log for a few reasons, one it looks more natural with the sand, it will give them a warm spot to bask on and it maybe a litttle taller.

Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome
