Bearded Shower

So the other day I was dealing with the need of temperature control for baths; since you know you fill it at the right temp and over time it cools;

Well I thought about turning the shower on and letting ody run around in that....it seems he likes it...the warm water constantly flowing around him...he even went into the water fall (shower)

I don't think this is detrimental; any more than a bath; I regulated the temps and made sure it was a constant 95 degrees; and just let it run; he ran around the bath in and out of the water fall (shower part) and then just hung out and let the water wash around him. He didn't beard or seem any more stressed than normal bath time.

I made sure the tub was clear of any soaps or residues; and let him have at it....it was definitely a fun change of pace to our bath time.

Ill get some pics next time;

Thoughts? any other shower beardys?

Mine LOVE the shower. We have a shower sprayer and one time I was rinsing the poop down the drain and accidentally hit Dexter with the spray and ever since then she's been hooked. She puts her head under the spray just so her nose is in the middle where there is no water but the rest is hitting her back. She plays a little game where she sits like this for a few seconds then moves up a little bit so another part of her body gets hit then keeps going till her tail is getting hit! You just want to be careful they don't aspirate any water and that there's not a lot of humidity. I tend to not spray them while they are in the process of puffing their body up, I worry that they would inhale water at that point.

I make sure even when giving just a bath, that I leave the bathroom door open so that humidity doesn't build up.

I do this as well; my current bathroom builds humidity like no other....

I have a dehumidifier in there as well;

Doors open with the dehumidifier on.

I have an anti slip mat in my tub which helps keep him calm since he's not slipping and sliding all over the place.

He puts his tail in the water fall area and just likes to sit there.

And then up and onto his basking area he goes after a shower/bath
