I am not sure on the weight part, but based on appearance, he looks a little skinny.

Its hard to tell in the bowl. Can you provide another pic on a level surface?

I would weigh the bowl first before putting in the beardie. Then subtract how much the bowl weighs from the dragon's weight (total). You actually need to be accurate with your dragon's weight.

You can zero the scale when you put the bowl on it I'll post a new pick I think it's the angle making him look skinnie

All right. Question? What kind of greens are you feeding him? Greens should be cut no bigger than the space between their eyes.

His body does looj a little skinny compared to the base of his tail. Beardies store there fat at the base of the tail n he has a nice fat tail. Eaxh beardie id different shapes n sizes just like ppl. I have two beardie and they r both different in size. Il post a couple of pics so u can c Diego is the fatty altho he younger than Boris.

As u can c Diego is quite fat but Boris isnt. Theu both get fed the same altho Boris does eat 2or 3 less bugs than Diego but he eats more salad. Each beardie is different. If ur beardie is eatin n poopin fine and he is active n alert and u have no concerns thwn i wudnt worry. U could try some worms to fatten him up if u wanted to tho:)

On your scale just below the on/off button it says zero. You put the bowl on the scale once it ways it press that button again and it zero's out the weight. Then you put the dragon in and it will give you the accurate weight. 522 grams is over a pound, he doesn't look like a pound, but I could be wrong.

Even if he doesn't eat salad in front of you, you need to always offer him fresh greens. Sometimes they eat when we are not looking and sometimes they truely just don't eat salad, yet. I say yet because they will start eating it. Also, don't leave the locusts in the tank with him all the time. If after 15 min he doesn't eat them, you need to remove them or else they could start biting him.

You cud just set ur lights on a timer no a thermo and just get a digi probe to measure temps so wen it reaches 110 it will stay on ;)
