Hey everyone! Sam has been doing well and eating great, so yesterday I picked him up 10 wax worms (Just as a little treat hes been doing good with handling and all and I wanted to see if he liked them), and I coated them in d3 calcium, this is also the first time ive given him calcium with d3 and he seemed to love them! I put the 10 in his bowl because from what i've read they know when to stop eating. Anyway he at 9 out of the 10, which was his second meal yesterday (earlier he had about 7-10 crickets and some collard greens). Anyway I wake up today and went to go put some crickets in his bowl and I noticed a clump of wax worms in the corner. Now last night I had noticed he was very light colored, the lightest ive ever seen him I thought perhaps he had just been very relaxed, he was almost a sandy color. So anyway from what I can guess he threw up the wax worms, I just want to make sure this isnt perhaps a sign of anything, or did he just eat too much? I only put 2 crickets in his bowl for now to see if he eats them and is feeling alright today.
Thanks everyone!
Anthony.

They can do that when they are too full, or if they didn't get enough time in the heat after eating so instead of having the food sit in his belly he threw it up.. Make sure you're not feeding too late in the day.. they need several hours prior to lights out..
If you have the right lighting and greens in there there's no need to use calcium with D3, I would get yourself some calcium without the D3..

Make sure your basking spot is getting to the right temperature. Throwing up is usually because they aren't digesting their food.
