I am thinking of getting a beard dragon. I have been wondering what the beard dragons that get 24in output is like. If it is like parakeets I would could let it run where it wants to.

Beardies pee and poop together. The white section of their poop is really their urine, it's called a urate. Babies go one to two times a day and as they get older they go less. I've heard of adult beardies who only go once every three to four days

Dragon poo smells and can sometimes be messy depending on how hydrated the dragon is, but it's nothing like a cat or dog. My beardie goes on a towel outside of his enclosure because he refuses to go inside of it. They like to keep their "home" clean.

My beardie likes to go in the bath.. If it isn't in the bath he goes on a paper towel that I put in his terrarium. He has never gone on me or anywhere else in his terrarium

You are all so fortunate

Odin will just go when he's got the need...

Mostly in his enclosure (In one certain spot) Or in the bath....but that is all timing....I had him out on my bed the one day and he let loose all over my sheets.....making a need for unscheduled laundry day....

My Izzy will only go in her bath, she used to go every day and now that she's a year she goes every 3-6days depending on how much she eats each day.

So she bathing in her excrements. That is a bit like a dog running out after be bathed and rolling in something.

No as once she goes I drain the water and refill and let her soak and swim some more..so I make sure she is free of anything..

One of mine does this, when she has to go she has to go! Most of the time she will walk in it if I don't clean it up fast enough. She's gone on my carpet a few times too.

I have a 40gal breeder aquarium right now. We're upgrading to a "67gal terrarium" soon.

Not as lucky as it sounds. I have to CATCH Bayne as soon as I see his "pooping position" and put him on the towel, or its time for clean sheets. LOL!
