As the title suggests nipp has been very inactive for the last week or so. I’ve not seen him basking at all for a week maybe more and he just seems to want to hide under one of his hides all day (He’s not moved for 2 days now.

He’s coming up to a year old now. Around 18 inches. He has a 100w basking spot around 41 centigrade and uvb lighting. Eats spring greens and squash and locusts and mario worms with the occasional wax worms (but hasn’t been eating very much lately)

Since he’s slowed down as has his pooo schedule having not passed daily for around a month now.

He seems bright in colour still with no clear markings of stress or anything but I’m getting very worried about his lack of basking, movement and appetite.

It’s got pretty cold in the UK right now and am unsure if this may be a factor.

Any help would be appreciated

Attached a photo of him at the time of this post. He’s not moved from this spot for 2 days now

it may just be brumation they sleep into the winter. some times for a few weeks some times longer depending on the beardie. just keep offer food daily and be sure to give him a nice warm bath weekly. and weigh him to be sure he's not loosing to much weight.
