My bearded dragon is doing this thing where he'll have his mouth open and will just do this sort of swallowing movement. I'm petrified because I know this isn't due to him being too hot or thirsty. He did it while going to bed and I'm so worried. All he's doing rn is having his eyes closed, mouth open, and sort of swallowing. Pls help?

Okay how old is the bearded dragon? Is a vet a possibility? Also do you have any other social media you could post a photo to?

hello i can’t quite tell anything wrong from that video. as @Silver dragons said, a vet visit is your best bet. is it happening constantly or just every once in a while? it could likely be your dragon trying to loosen shed skin.

however it could also be due to a respiratory infection which, again, needs a proper vet. i hope the little guys okay, keep us updated!!

We are looking into getting a vet visit while still being able to keep him so we can help him out. Also I'm not sure how often it happens. It happened two a day ago and then this morning but then later on in the day he stopped when I gave him some multi vitamin's.

if it’s not happening constantly i wouldn’t be too worried. more likely stretching to loosen shed? that being said a vet visit won’t hurt to make sure it’s not a respiratory infection
