I have a female bearded dragon called khaleesi who recently had to undergo a surgery related to follicular stasis. For weeks she hadnt been eating and looked miserable. Turns out She had 12 eggs inside her that weren't fully formed and without shells so she couldn't pass them. Some of them had even ruptured inside of her. The vet had to remove all the eggs as well as her ovaries.
However he did not give me a lot of info about how to care for her post surgery.
Does anybody know how to care for a bearded dragon post surgery?
She had the surgery yesterday and only ate two insects today... Should she be eating more? Also if she doesn't eat more should I force feed her some baby food? Any help would be appreciated thanks :)

I would call the vets office and ask what to do post op. I imagine she's pretty sore and probably not interested in eating anything so soon after surgery. I wouldn't try to force feed her anything just yet.

Thats great that she ate already! A good sign. I would not recommend force feeding at this point, no. Its a stressful thing for them and you want to reduce any stress at the moment. I would say increase the temperature of the basking area a bit. That helps with their immune function, giving it a bit of a boost. You can also get some plain neosporin, the kind without the pain killer, and use that on the incision. For now, just use paper towels and change them daily regardless of whether they are soiled or not. Keep greens/veggies in at all times and spray some water on her face to see if she will lick it off. Did the vet give you antibiotics at all?

Hey guys, so khaleesi is now 4 days on from her surgery and she has already gotten her appetite back and is eating like a pig! She is alert abd active.
Amazing how even just 4 days after the surgery she has gone back to her old self. Considering four days ago she wouldn't eat and would sleep all day under her basking spot. Yes I am giving her antibiotics every day for 10 days :) going back in 2 weeks to get her stitches out.
