Bearded dragon behaviour issues

Hi,

A few days ago my bearded dragon started to dig under the terrarium background. She is doing this non-stop and she hides with her head in the carved space. Should I buy her a hidding place or should I get worried about this behaviour? I attached some photos for a better understanding.

Kind regards,
Alex

If you don't have a hide for her (cave) absolutely get her one!

My girl likes to crawl into her piece of rounded cork bark. My male doesn't go into his cave but he does crawl into the tent I made with two sticks and an old piece of T-shirt

Dexter likes to curl up under her bark hide too. The other day I caught Luci hiding under the paper towel substrate that I had taped down! He now has a towel to crawl under!

Is it possible she's gravid? Females will start to dig when they are going to lay eggs.
