Hello all! I'm a teacher that has had a bearded dragon since his birth four years ago.
Because of the pandemic, he was alone for a few months. I was able to come in and feed him and sanitize his terrarium, but not much else.
I've now gotten him out and into a summer program I tutor at. However, there's an issue....
Every time I approach his terrarium his beard turns black and he puffs out. I can't figure out why other than he's not used to people any more. This is VERY unlike him. He's incredible with kids and they love him. Nothing has changed as far as his diet. The only change is the fact that people haven't been around.
Am I right in thinking that if I just acclimate him with people again this should subside?
