Hi! I figured out how to post a thread, I think this is in the right place.

I'm studying bearded dragons for animal management, and couldn't find the information I need for a part of my work.

What squash is the best for bearded dragons to have?
How often can they have this squash?
How much squash can they have each time (like grams/cups etc)?

Thank you, again sorry if this is wrong :)

Yellow squash and butter nut are two fan favorites but im not quite shure which is “best” , I believe that’s subjective? Each squash is different with vitamins and flavor.

I’d like to say that butternut and acorn squash are a fan favourite especially in my house hold. Those 2 squashes I also know they can get daily as well. A lot of rescuers who take in sick beardies who need assisted eating will give them butternut squash baby food. I had to do the same with my Cleopatra because she was very emaciated when I first got her and she cannot get enough of butternut squash now. I’ll attach a website of all the veggies they can eat. And for serving size I’m not 100% sure cause it’s part of their salad. But because it’s a staple veggie I usually make it equal amount to their greens. Hope I was able to help :)
