They're likely going to do an x-ray for broken bones. If he doesn't want to be handled it's possible he's in pain.
My beardie also got stepped on the other day during Christmas madness, we heard a crunch..... a literal crunch.
He has a small bulge in his stomach (he was stepped on on his midsection, so around there), it's not on the other side of his stomach so it must be abnormal and I never noticed it before this.
I am very worried, but there isn't any way for me to take him to the vet.
It's crazy though, because right after he was stepped on I gave him his warm bath and he was going in circles and splashing a bit and drinking the water like usual, and he still is letting me hold him and he is showing NO signs of pain or discomfort....but there is still a physical bulge on his stomach.

Any thoughts?
He is 5 years old and still eating/drinking healthy. Very active.

There might be something broken or there may be internal damage. Try to locate a vet in your area, many will offer payment plans if you cannot afford to pay for an exam right now. Wrap him in a towel to restrict movement and prevent him from hurting himself more. Is the lump hard or soft?

I was holding him earlier and we saw the bump was on both sides and it looks like it's just the bottom of his ribcage.
Thank you but I think everything is fine!
