Beard Black Spots

Zeus has these two black spots on his chin and he has been hiding away now. The lining of his lip looks a weird color too not sure if it has always been like that but I was just wondering if anyone knows what’s going on? Is this because he’s brumating?

Looks like shed and no it has nothing to do w/ brumation

Could be due to his age if he's an older bearded dragon, My Cleo has a couple black dots like that across her body, its basically changes in their pigmentation If I am remembering correctly what my vet told me.

As in stuck shed? His beard wasn't shedding. This stuff popped up out of no where. He isn't stressed I don't think, nothing really bothers him he is really mellow. Nothing in the area that I can think of that would stress him other than my dogs -- and he runs around with the dogs.
