So I've had my beardie for two weeks now. When I got him he was probably only a month old. Anyways he's getting used to his environment and is eating pretty well and is starting to get used to me handling him. I tried giving him a bath today and got the water to 95 to 100 degrees, and he seemed to enjoy it...he mostly liked sitting on my hand but still in the water a little bit, guess he was a little scared. At one point though he layed in the water completely still with his lungs expanded and eyes closed. I figure its a way to be comfortable but it just looks freaky cause he is lifeless (except for his lungs being completely filled). Anyways I was just wondering if this was normal. Also how often should I do this?

Sounds like your beardie loves bath time. Congrats! Most take some time to warm up to the idea.

I like to recommend beardies under 6 months to get daily baths. Between 6 - 12 months, 2-3 times per week. After 12 months, weekly.

Might be a little too warm. Try dropping the temp just a bit and see if he becomes a little more active. From experience when the temp is just right, they don't just lay there. They swim and move around. Of course your guy is young, but give it a try.
