Basking spot not hot enough

Ever since I upgraded Lizzy to a 60 gal viv I can't keep the basking spot hot enough. This has become especially difficult now that it's cold out. He's got 100w and 150w mercury vapor bulbs in the lamps directly above the basking spot, but the basking spot is still only 90 degrees. There isn't room for another fixture above the basking spot so I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas?

the first thing that comes to mind is to find a way to get the spot she loves to be in most closer to the lamp so its more concentrated

I'm already measuring the point closest to the lamp as the basking spot (the top of the log).

You could use rocks to lift your basking zone a bit higher off the ground (thus closer to the heat)
... just an idea?

You're tank is too high, you need a tank that has more length than height. Try doing something to get your basking spot closer to the light.
