Baby crested gecko

Hi I just got a baby crested gecko 3 days ago. How does he or she look? He/she is shedding around his/her eyes when I got it

Rusty is a very handsome guy!! Do gecko's really lose their tail and grow a new one? That sort of creeps me out. Also....is a 20 gal tank big enough for a gecko? Thinking about maybe getting one....love my Spike!! Even though I don't think he has all his marbles!!

Some gecko will grow tail back. Rusty is a crested gecko if he/she lose it tail it won't grow back. But my leopard gecko will grow her tail back it won't be as pretty as the original one. A 20 gallon long tank is good for a leopard gecko. Crested gecko need tall tanks here a pic of Jessica my leopard gecko

Why would they lose their tail? Just a natural thing?

Well they lose if predator would get a hold of them. The crested gecko is the same but if they get stress they will they drop their tails but their dont grow back
My leopard gecko has never lost her tail
