Does anyone know how to properly care for a blue belly lizard? I caught it from school and we'er planning to keep him/her as a class pet, but i dont know alot about blue-bellies but he/she does eat and he just figured out how to use his water dish. So if any1 knows how to care for these guys?

And that is a good thing, Angel... But if you have several answers to one question, that tends to open up a whole lotta doors to other useful information, you never realized existed ;).

Sounds to me like maybe you should let it go. If you found him in nature (or close to), then release him back. I assume it is probably suffering from stress. Just my 2 cents :)

Shouldn't catch wild critters and cage them, that is enough stress to kill them, make them not eat ect. Should let him go, but he/she would probably be attacked by other wild critters from being scented.

I rescued a Bluebelly from my dog, once. o.o I saw her leaping around and nipping at something, so I ran over and saw that she had a bluebelly lizard pinned down. I lifted her paw, and right away the lizard ran in between my legs to hide. xD The poor thing- It had a cut in its stomach. ;_; I couldn't save it, there were guts hanging out. o.o I had to kill it, I didn't want it to suffer. Dx
