Hey guys, looking for advice.

I adopted my bearded dragon about 5 months back, he is 6-7 months old. I have researched extensively and I take good care of him; he has been very healthy and happy up until this week.

He recently started pooping at night. I don't know why that happens: he doesn't like to poop in his cage and often poops when we take him out(that's what we prefer - "controlled poop" outside of his cage so it doesn't get messy). However, recently he stopped pooping during his daytime and I now wake up to him pretty much pooping himself and laying in it. I am sure it doesn't happen at night; I wake up earlier than him and I believe he poops about half an hour to an hour before his typical light on(10 AM).

His poop did change a bit, however. There is still white residue present and blackish solid, but one time the solid looked very dry(as if it was dehydrated somehow but there was liquid around it). Another time there was a little redish color in a small part of the solid. I actually have a picture of one of the poops if someone could find it more helpful.

His diet has been consistent, we feed him dubia roaches most of the time and crickets when run out(all sized properly). In the morning he usually gets some watercress, yellow squash or collard greens soaked in water to keep him hydrated. The only thing that we changed is his enclosure, he got a bigger enclosure two to three weeks ago but inconsistencies only began recently.

I have already made a vet appointment for next week(earliest available). However, yesterday he refused to eat his favorite roaches, which really alerted me. He ate maybe 10-15 small ones when he typically eats 50-60. It was very odd because he seemed to be very responsive and interested in them as they run by as if he wanted them, but he abstained himself from eating. Today is the second day he is refusing to eat; however, I think he is starting to shed because his body seems a little bit paler. He hasn't shed in a while, do you think it could stress him out enough to refuse to eat ?

Any advice/insight will be very helpful and thank you ahead of time

Shed can lead to decreased appetite. Maybe start feeding him earlier and giving him extra time to bask before/after a meal so that he poops before bed?

Well, my issue right now is that he refuses to eat at all. Today he refused both veggies and bugs and ate literally nothing; yesterday he at least ate a few bugs.

It may be the shed that is stopping him from wanting food, if he continues refusing to eat you can use an appetite stimulant or some bee pollen on the food. Keep an eye on his weight to make sure it stays in a healthy range.
