Athena stopped eating again

Athena was doing really good, but all of a sudden she went on a hunger strike again. She was very happily eating collard greens and bits of kale. Still never went for supers, but I figured something was better than nothing.

This past week we've not wanted to eat at all, I was hoping if I waited long enough she's eat on her own, but she started getting really lethargic and wanting to sleep, so I ended up making a slurry for her.

She saw the syringe and immediately started licking it and trying to eat it. She very happily gobbled up about 5cc. I want her healthy, but I don't want to rely on hand feeding her. Has anyone heard of them rather living off slurries?

Bearded dragons are very smart and know that us humans will give in to them. Once you start the slurries it is so hard to get them off of them and eating on their own.

Have you tried dubia's?

Been having trouble getting dubia's locally. Have people here had any experience buying from dubiaroaches.com?

You have done wonders with her this last month! If you look back at the pictures from a month ago to today. She looks like a completely different dragon!

Kudos to you for rescuing her and giving her a chance to live.

I've had the same problem. My local guy lost his colony so I've had to order online. I've used this guy Jim Kilker. JFK dragons and since I've been getting his dubia's my Wally has doubled in size and eats his dubia's like they are chocolate and it's me eating the chocolate! So I ordered his dubia chow and it is seriously better than my local guy. He's a bit expensive but you pay for quality not quantity.
