My little Ivan is in a 40 gallon. I‘m getting a 5x2x2 ready for when he grows up a little. I tried to order longer bulb and fixture. The new Arcadia ProT5 I need is out of stock. I have to wait, is it a lot better then their older model bulb. At 24 inches I need a 14%. Should I wait or just get the olde model?

You don't really need a 14% bulb and T 5 12% will work its up to you- the distance for the 14% bulb would need to be 17-18 inches directly above basking decor w/ no obstruction w/ the T 5 12% distance 12-15 inches-- check this website www.pangeareptiles.com for the proT 5

So i cant get my UVB any higher its 8 inches above decor with a refelctor.. is that to close? I notce she has started t close her eye again. Also how do i keep her hydrayted? She is dehydrated and i think alot I mist her collards. Thats all i give her? I dont know what else is ok... and i cant find anything organic other than collarrds.

In enclosure I have for my bearded dragon I use Arcadia T5 Pro with installed 6% UVB. I was told that by their official Lighting Guide. The distance from basking spot to the lamp is from 7 to 10 inches. (Up to 30cm).
But I can't give confidence in that because I'm still waiting for Arcadia's reply and this is all me - I want to have not only one proof but many.
Maybe you can find an answer in their website.
Also, my Randy has dehydration symptoms as well - luquid and not solid poop (diahrea) and droopy eyes. I'm treating him with extra water drops and trying to feed him carrot. I read about lack of A could be a reason of that as well.
*I'm not a pro and keep my bearded dragon only for one month.
