My hubby and I decided to take today for ourselves a mental health day and we were out with Mordy it was to hot for Merlyn(dog) and I realized when I was in CVS Mordy was on my shoulder when I got to the checkout he hid down my back.... guess he did not like that cashier..... I told hubby that I can tell who Mordy likes and doesn't like with the way he acted ..... anyone else have that experience?

I hope mine calms down one day. I got to hold him without him trying to run away for about 10 to 15 minutes today, so it is a start. I have had him for 3 months and we are still working on his skittishness. I have started calling him Scardy Spike.

I got Mordy in March as a rescue he was not abused or anythng like that the person that had gotten him from her ex and didn't have the time for him and I was looking for one ...... if ytou handle him a few times everyday the bond comes with that take your time and you will have him loving you

it's funny. My snake, which I got at the same time, is much tamer already than my BD. I have been taking him out of his viv much more the last few days and he isn't always happy about it. He seems to like it most when we are walking around and he gets to look at everything from the safety of my chest, but he got scared by a bird outside the other day and now he blackbeards every time I walk toward the sliding glass doors. Its' really sad.

Dexter hides from the vet LOL! When she went for her exam, he put her on the table and she ran right up my arm!

LMAO Modry has never been to the Vet and hope that I never have to take him there

This was Dexter's first time that she came to me. I think because this was also the first time they did a blood workup. Usually she tries to get away from me like "how dare you bring me here!"

They are funny Mordy loves my grand kids and daughter my grandkids want to hold him but his nails are to sharp and they are still to yound in my book , Mordy protects the baby in my daughters belly
