I love holding my girls, but they definitely have some sharp little claws! LOL

Yep. It's not as bad as it used to be. There used to be a girl that worked at my Petco and she had these cuts up her arms and I used to feel bad for her I thought she was cutting herself. Then I got Dexter and realized that it was from her animals....oops!

When it was bad I would use either vaseline or bag balm or some other thick lotion at night and then put those hand softening gloves on and go to sleep. In the morning my hands were nice and soft and over time the scars went down.

I have them on my chest too, but they aren't as bad as my arms! LOL They don't hurt at all and I don't even realize it when I'm holding them, it's just that afterwards I look like I've been battling an army of kittens! LOL

That's a good idea Patsy!

Ha ha yep they can be worse than having cats. I clip my beardies claws but you have to be really careful. I take the last mm off but after you do this they can't grip the same so if they are on your clothes you have to hold on to them. Only clip the claws if you are confident that you can take only the slightest bit off. Hope this helps.

We used to have Luci on ceramic tile. He runs around his tank so much one day I noticed all his nails were filed down to nubs and he couldn't grip on our shirts when we picked him up!
