Hello there, I have this idea even before I started to work on my enclosure.

I want to ask if an ambient sounds of forrest or deserts are going to disturb him, or relax him.. I will found ones that doesnt have hawks, or much birds inside..

This is my setup:

Speakers on the both sides of the enclousure..

Thanks..

Not really sure on this one but I do leave the radio on in the room that Izzy is in when I leave to do errands. I don't think that anything in particular I just do it so she hears voices..

I would stay away from bird noises. Not sure about other animals though. I used to do the same thing Hdyrdr31 does. When we first got Dexter we would play talk radio all day when we were at work so she would hear people talking and hopefully not feel alone.

Yea when I'm only going to be gone a short time I'll leave the tv on the music channel as she does like to watch the tv from her basking spot :) she's always has her head out the top watching us or the tv :) funny little dragon's!

I'm not surprised at his reaction as Hawks feed on dragon's if given the chance, so their survival instinct is to be very aware of things that fly above.. Care should also be taken when you have him outside or even inside while sitting on a window sill as they will react by running if a bird flies above..
