I live in Florida wher Dubia Roaches are illegal. He's about 6 months old (13" long). I'm giving him mostly crickets but they die quickly, stink and are noisy. I'm looking for suggestions on a different staple insect.

Also, I bought a pack of 50 Super Worms to give as treats. Is there an easier way of getting the Super Worms from the container I got them in to the terrarium? I'm making a mess trying to get them out spilling the substrate everywhere:(

Thanks!!!

There are other types of roaches available. I don't have any experience with them though. If you don't like picking up the supers with your fingers use a pair of long tweezers or tongs.

Yeah – crickets are a pain

Crickets are not my favorite. Have you tried other roaches, as Canicke suggested? Maybe juvenile hissers or red runners? Try RedEarthWorms.com - they have so many different options.
