Here's a pic of Allie lying her head on her 'Pillow Pet' beanie baby Husky. When I got her out, she clung to it like;

"No Mommy! It's mine! Get your own! My Pillow."

I LOVE IT! She is such a cutie! Dexter loves her little pink hippo, it's her best friend. I bought her a soft frog but she always goes for the hippo.

lol. She loves it as long as it's small and not too big. I got her a teddy bear, her size and she didn't want it in her tank. Poor baby. :)

Something tells me reptiles aren't appreciative of any of that kind of stuff. Being dressed up, covered up in blankets, etc. Not to be rude or anything like that, but this all seems a bit ridiculous.

Yes you are entitled to your opinion (Bennylava)

Thank you Looptyloo.

Allie is requiring her bed and blankets now more than ever because guess what she's got now other than the lump. She's got a respiratory infection. No discharge coming out of her mouth and nose. None at all. Time to heat up at night with an infrared and will be getting new basking heat lamps for her. She was coughing this morning and I thought it was the dogs. Kept hearing it. Now I've got a way to keep her from getting worse at night too. I'll elevate her head like I did last year and heat her up at night.

Okay: Temps:

Her readings are 115-126 on the basking log, closest to the lights, where she basks. 90-99 below that. Not very hot down there. Probe thermometer. Outside of her tank's 73-77. And I've got a heater going on full blast to heat up my room more. I certainly hope that helps some with her cool side temps.

Thank you. I bought her some bee pollen and powdered it myself. Then I sprinkled it on her greens and she ate the whole thing up. Even licked the plate off the powder. Wow. :)

She's gotten worse...coughing more frequently. I'm waiting for the Baytril or Enro to come in. I've got the temps up and keeping her warm when she's out. Giving her water every two hours or so to keep her hydrated. I gave her a dose of Albon as a precaution. I listened to her lungs. Both weren't clear, so I gave her a dose of Albon. After that, one lung clear, the other not.

I'm sorry to hear. Sounds like you know what she needs though and if anyone can make her feel better it's you :)

Yes. The vet needed to know there was a change in her health so I told them to write that down. I've been giving her some lukewarm water in a syringe and keeping her hydrated. She opened her mouth and let me look in to see if there were any discharge or mucous. No discharge.
