Allie ate all her greens this morning with my help and I took a loooong awaited nap with my bird sitting next to me.

I'm still exhausted, but she ate very little tonight. I'm also noticing a gulping noise whenever she opens and closes her mouth. She has been gaping as if having RI. I looked down into her glottis. She might have aspirated some water from her bath. I'm not sure. But her temps are 100-104 to give her immune system a boost. I felt happy and relieved. She was basking all day long on her log.

She doesn't have to eat a ton each time she eats. Sounds like she ate good this morning. Dexter doesn't eat a ton every day. Some days i'm lucky she eats anything at all. Yesterday she was all over her salad and blueberries and today I made her a special bowl with just blueberries and strawberries and she didn't touch it! You've been giving her the Reptaid, so I would think her gulping is more from aspirating water. Just keep an eye on her.

I hope it's not an RI. Allie had many of them already. She had two last year and this year, she went on Baytril to rid of it. It's pesky all right. I've got her on Reptaid XL for her yellow fungus. This should help with her RI if she has one.

Thanks. I'm thinking of mine and yours as well. She's wheezing this morning so I think she has it. Only thing is: I can't elevate her basking logs yet to get up close to the lights yet. She's still able to fall off to the side on her side.

Thank you. I found myself singing the Boogaboo Song I sing every morning for her. I really miss her a lot and I keep thinking ahead. I keep trying to bargain now. If I did this, or did that differently. It saddens me to no end because I can't pick her up, kiss her, or do any of the usual routines without crying or not feeling her on my chest when she goes to sleep.
