All Living Things brand lights

Hey ya'll,
I wanted to get your opinion on my lighting set up. I tried to get the reptisun 10.0 uvb light T5 HO tube bulb, but I had a hell of a time finding a fixture for it. So in desperation I just drove to petsmart and picked up their All Living Things reptile desert flourescent UVB bulb and fixture. I have it sitting on top of the mesh, but given how little information I can find on it, I'm not confident that Lt. Dan is getting the UVB he needs. It says that it emits 50 microwatts but I'm not sure how that compares.
I already had a zoo med 10.0 coil bulb so I threw that on top just in case. But what do you guys suggest? Do you know anything about the All Living Things bulbs?

I haven't heard anything about the All Living Things brand of UVB bulbs. I would think if it's a T8 size bulb and it's on the mesh then you want to make sure he can get 6 inches from the light since the mesh cuts out most of the UVB.

thank you! that's cheaper than what i've been able to find!
so you would say you prefer the T5 over T8? i knew the 10.0 was better than 5.0 for use over mesh but I wasnt sure about bulb size

I love the T5. My dragons instantly perked up with it. I also like it ease it pent rates the mesh top of the tank so I don't have to figure out how to put it inside.

Jim seemed to have perked up when he went into his new apartment. 36" reptisun 10.0 as opposed to his old place with compact fluorescent through the screen.

I had an All Living Things bulb installed 6 inches from a shelf in the tank. Tarey used to always sit on the shelf. I recently changed to a Reptisun bulb and she hasn't been on the shelf at all. Do I need to lower the shelf a bit? Is it too high?

Is it a UVB bulb or a basking bulb? If UVB it should be fine if you are talking about a basking bulb, measure your temps to make sure that they are correct.
