I've heard that feeding your bearded dragon mealworms can be an issue, however my bearded dragon refuses crickets. What are some other insects I can feed? (The stores in town only sell crickets and mealworms. Any advice on where to order the food from?)

Dubia roaches are the best staple insect. Hornworms and silkworms are good for variety, as well. Local feeder insect breeders and online sources are the best for finding roaches and worms. They can usually be found at reptile shows and expos, too.

Hi...eBay for dubai roaches..and my advice is do yourself a favour of investing in a breeding colony. It will save you a fortune over the forth coming years and is a doddle to do.
Meal worms I've never had a problem with..however I only feed them to adults and only a few.

I second the colony. Best decision I ever made.

What are the requirements for a colony? Like any advice on what I'll need to start one? Thanks for your help!
If you take a look at the link below several of our comments I have written up a how to raise Dubia's from my own experience. They are great feeders!!!

Do you know a good place to order them from? One that is trustworthy and has good quality?
