Hi guys and girls my female beardy called wifey layed 14 eggs 9 days ago the set up is as follows and just want advice that every thing is right.
When the eggs hatched I put them into a container which I'd pre filled with vermiculite and some water to make it slightly damp sealed the container with the lids and placed it into my incubator which is sitting at 30c. When the eggs were layed they were white in colour and were yellow in the inside now 9 days later they are a cherry colour inside with a lot of veins showing up. Does this seem ok as I'm new to all this.

Sounds like they're doing well. Have you tried candling them? Need to be careful not to let them roll and to put them back in the same side up afterward.

What you have described is pretty much how I did my eggs & they Hatched out just fine on day 57 at similar temps.

Just had a wee look at the eggs and the solid that was on the eggs has started to get a bit mouldy should I try to brush it off or leave it would be afraid incase the mould harmed the babies?

If you can brush it off without changing the orientation (keeping them the same side up) of the eggs, I would gingerly try to remove as much of it as possible without damaging or drastically changing the temp of the egg. I would then, either not seal the lids completely, or poke a few 1/8 inch holes in the lids to allow some air into it, but not so many to allow all the humidity to escape.

Some of the eggs will get moldy and die off fairly quickly. It also depends on how you handled them directly after they were laid. If you let them lay long enough for the umbilical to attach, then you would have needed to lay them the same side up in the incubator that they were laying in. It can be quite difficult to get them away quickly sometimes, especially with a difficult lay.
