Bugsy's 18inches and eats 20 med dubai's in one feeding. Is he big enough to eat adults?
I'm trying to figure out what larger bugs to give him so it doesn't have to be so many at a time.

The nice thing about dubia is that they are for the most part soft and meaty...At 18" he should be fine eating an adult just watch him in case he doesn't bite them down a bit as some adults like the big females can be pretty dang big. Watching for the space between their eyes should be as wide as the bug being given if not wider so you know they can swallow it without choking.

Thanks Hydrydr31. He chews his food up pretty good before shallowing and I make sure it's gone before offering him more.

He should be fine, just watch him eat 1 to make sure he has no problem. I can only have discoids in FL. and they are bigger than dubia and mine have no problem. My adults range from 18 inches to 22 inches.

He has no problem digesting adult dubai's if the size of his poop is any indication. Wowzer!
Yea it can be pretty surprising at how big their poop is :) my baby boy makes me think that everday :)
