Hi,

I have a year old bearded dragon who has recently stopped eating bugs. She'll eat some greens every now and then but hasn't eaten a dubia roach in a couple weeks. She also will only go to the bathroom if in the bath and the stool is relatively solid but sometimes not. This has never happened before and she's been healthy as can be until now. What do I do?

dont panic, they do slow down at this time of year. They go off their food for a while, I had to laugh at one of mine a couple of months ago, he loves superworms then all of a sudden he wouldnt eat them. I tried tong feeding him one, he tasted it and recoiled like it was made of acid. A month on and he is eating them again. Having said that it is important that a check is done for parasites. Also double check your temperatures and change bulbs where required.
Dont give your beardie baths if she is not eating, it may cause involuntary bowel movents when there is nothing there to move, if you know what I mean.
