Ok, so I bought a breeder set and I haven't ever incubated before. I have a Zoo Med Reptibator. What I'm needing to know is: 1) Is there a specific brand of vermiculite that is better to use? 2) Do I add a bowl of water to the incubator or do I add a bowl with a sponge of water?
Also, what other info do I need to know? My friend has a morph that is FULL of eggs and will probably be laying within the next week, so I need all the info I can get ASAP! Please pretty please with a cherry on top! lol

The substrate that you use for the egg bins should not contain any plant food or fertilizers. I'm not familiar with the Reptibator, is there a reservoir in the bottom for water.

There is a reservoir at the bottom, I plugged it in last night and it is holding temp well. We filled the reservoir with water and its not reading high enough so we put a bowl if water in there to see if it would raise it

By adding the bowl, has that helped? If the female has a second clutch, will there be enough room for the extra bins? Try lining the walls of the incubator with damp paper towels or drape them over the bins.

K thanx! I'll definitely try that! Would a wet wash cloth hold moisture longer or will that not work?

You will see veining through the shell when put next to light.
