Penny used to belong to a friend of a friend who unfortunately had no more room for her. I've had her for about a week and so far she's not remotely interested in her veggies.

Apologies if I'm a bit slow on the uptake, she's my first beardie and as she's already four I guess she has her own preferences that I'm unaware of at the moment. I've tried pretty much every type of veggie she's allowed to eat, in lots of different shapes but to no avail :(

Could she possibly be settling in still? Other than the food she's very calm, and will come to the glass for attention when I walk by, and is quite active when it comes to hunting her live food.

Just want to make sure she eats enough :(

Someone else just asked this same question. Keep offering the salad every day, she may come around. You can always gut load your feeders with her salad too. I trick my girl with horn worms, they are like velcro and they stick to the green. She's more interested in the worm to notice the is something healthy attached to it. She's going to be 2 in a few weeks and won't eat salad either.

Have you tried only feeding salad? How long do you wait before giving her worms? I like the idea of horn worms sticking to greens and getting eaten that way! ;) tricky!

I was surprised today I gave her a small horn worm and she looked across to her salad so I grabbed a big piece of kale with the tongs and she chomped it right up, without a worm attached. Baby steps I guess. I give salad every morning and will sometimes wait till lunch to give bugs and she still won't touch the salad.

Try misting the salad and hold off the live feeders for a day or two. An adult beardie needs more salad than live prey. Maybe she.just being fussy. Try puttin bits if fruit in there aswel banana or strawberry coz they have a sweet smell that mite make her a little more interested :)

Misting the veggies has worked for me too. You can try to wait her out a bit and only offer salad and see if she takes to it after a day or so
