    Lifetime of mercury vapor bulbs

    I was at the vet the other day, and my vet said that UVB bulbs need to be changed every six months, but mercury vapor could go longer, but she was not aware of exactly how long. Does anyone know about this? I just need to know how often to replace. Thanks! :)
